Our busy morning commenced in layers, as we hurriedly flew through the door on our way in the dark, and visibly wet skies for the Soccer tournament. The kids fought a very tough game threw almost 3-10 minute quarters until the other team finally scored 1 goal. My daughter's team left the field with heads held high. This was only the 6 and 7 year old division, but the league looked at these kids as if they were grown adults playing for multimillion dollar Super Bowls, or whatever they call it in soccer. As we left the fields, I still took my daughter to breakfast in celebration not of a Loss, but of a Good Try! After that, endless errands... paying car payments, a daily trip to Starbucks, and stopping off to deliver a treat to my husband at Pizza Hut making sure his breathing didn't continue to become too labored today.
Instead of ending up in my own home, I am using my 9 year old nephews laptop. My sister conveniently caught me on a day where I didn't have much going except for the above stated. So here I am, watching 4 little angels/devils (depending on Vito's mood). When my sister returns, hopefully she will have a newer car. The hand-me-down car that was originally my husband's grandfather's was breaking down beyond repair after 15 years and a ton of miles later. I just intercepted a text message a few second ago that read "omwh," translated to standard English means on my way home. I don't know as of yet whether they were able to seal the deal. On this rainy day, I just hope that I can go home soon, and relax into doing the 3 page literary analysis due tomorrow for my graduate course. Tomorrow's adventures include our first-ever trip to a Reptile show/convention, which will hopefully not end by opening our home to another "mouth to feed."
